Ever wonder what a Front-End Developer do every day? Read out to find out.

This article will focus on: what front-end developent mean, the objectives of designing a site, and what are their skill and tools.

What Is Front-End Developent?

Front-end web development, also known as client-side development is the practice of producing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for a website or web Application, so that user can see and interact with them directly. So everything that you see when you’re navigating around the Internet, from fonts and colors to drop down menus and sides is a combo of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript being controlled by your computer’s browser.

Is There Any Challenge?🤔

The challenge associated with front-end development, is that the tools and techniques used to create the front-end of a web site change constantly, and so the developer needs to constantly be aware of how the feild is developing.

What Is The Objective Of Designing A Site?😏

The objectives of designing a site is to ensure that when the users open up the site, they see information in a format that is easy to read and relevant. So this requires a careful planning on the side of the developer.

Skill And Tools

Front-End Developers are responsible for a website’s user-facing code and the architecture of it immersive user experiences. In order to execute those objectives, front-end devs must be adept at three main languages which are:

HTML, CSS, and JavaScript programming.

In addition to fluency in these languages, front-end devs need to be familiar with frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation, Backbone, Angular Js, and Ember J’s, which ensure great looking content no matter the device, and libraries like JQuery and LESS, which package code into a more useful, time-saving form.

So the bottom line is web development has many faces. But no matter the type of development you’re or aspire to be, soft skill like attention to detail, ability to learn quickly, ability to solve problems effeciently, and in good stead on top of the hard skill outlined above.
